A world-wide phenomenon is ending today. Questions will be answered and the truth will be exposed. Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that Gossip Girl ends today. What a ride it has been. The show, for the first three seasons, had an addictive-like quality while in the past three seasons, it has been sort of dull and repetitive. However, not last episode--it was phenom. I hope believe that tonight's two-hour episode will deliver and leave us satisfied. But for now, let's look back at some of our favorite memories...
The first episode.
The Season 4 Premiere in Paris. The fashion in this episode was amazing.
The Season 5 Premiere in LA. Another great episode for fashion.
Season 2 when they broke into the school pool. Funny memories when Chuck was the lifeguard.
The infamous Hamptons' White Party.
And of course, I was not going to forget to mention Chuck Bass's Scarf. Now that is a phenomenon all in itself. RIP scarf.
This show has not only included an enticing story line, but has also been a complete fashion experience.
Last night, to commemorate this event, I took a bubble bath while watching the Gossip Girl Paris episode with all the lights off and a candle flickering. It just felt right.
Gossip Girl, you will be sorely missed, but you will live forever in our hearts.
XOXO
Rachel
I am, too, sad about Gossip Girls end. Will you be watching that new show based on Carrie from Sex & The CIty's younger teen life?

I think I'm going to give the new show a try. What about you?
DeleteThe show, and even the books before that, taught me so much about fashion and definitely contributed to my personal style... I always like to think it's a cross between Blair and Serena :) Great roundup, hope you enjoyed the finale!

DeleteI am SO sad this show has now ended! I am looking forward to going home tonight and watching the last ever episode - I think I will cry!
ReplyDeleteHaha. I never cry when it comes to movies or television shows, but I actually cried at the end.
